Are You The 2020 Porsche Cayenne Coupe?

The Porsche Cayenne Coupe is slated to be unveiled later this month and it appears we could be getting our first official glimpse of the model.

Sent in by Carscoops reader Erico, this sketch shows a sleek crossover with a dynamic roofline, muscular rear haunches and a tailgate-mounted spoiler. We can also see a rakish rear window, an upright tailgate and familiar Porsche taillights.

The sketch matches up nicely with previous spy photos, but this image certainly makes the crossover look far more aggressive. It also doesn’t show the front of the Cayenne Coupe which closely resembles the standard model.

The cabin will largely carryover, so drivers can expect a 12.3-inch infotainment system and an instrument cluster with 7-inch displays on each side of an analogue tachometer. In typical Porsche fashion, there should be countless interior options including everything from heated and ventilated seats to carbon fiber and wood trim.

Engine options should be shared with the standard model, so we can expect an entry-level variant with a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that produces 335 hp (250 kW / 340 PS) and 332 lb-ft (450 Nm) of torque. There could also be a twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 developing 434 hp (323 kW / 440 PS) and 406 lb-ft (550 Nm) of torque. Spy photographers have also caught a Turbo variant which will use a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 producing 541 hp (403 kW / 548 PS) and 568 lb-ft (769 Nm) of torque.

Porsche is embracing electrification, so the company could offer an e-Hybrid model with a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6, a 14.1 kWh lithium-ion battery pack and an electric motor. This should enable the crossover to have a combined output of 455 hp (339 kW / 461 PS) and 516 lb-ft (699 Nm) of torque.
