2020 Jeep Gladiator Starts At $33,545, Arrives At Dealers This Summer

The all-new 2020 Jeep Gladiator goes on sale this spring in the United States and will arrive in dealerships in the summer.

The rugged pickup truck comes with a starting price of $33,545 for the base Sport model, excluding a $1,495 destination fee. For the money, buyers get basic stuff like 17-inch black steel wheels, halogen headlamps, roll-up windows, manual door locks, cloth seats, single-mode air conditioning, 5-inch touchscreen Uconnect 3 display, eight-speaker audio system, cruise control, push-button start, and more. Also standard are the 2.72:1 Command-Trac low range four-wheel drive system, and Dana 44 front and rear axles with 3.73 gear ratios.

2020 Jeep Gladiator Overland

Above the Gladiator Sport sits the Sport S which starts at $36,755 and adds 17-inch alloys, power windows and door locks (including the tailgate), heated power side mirrors, automatic headlamps, remote keyless entry, tinted glass, illuminated sun visors, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

Further up is the Overland, which is priced from $40,395 and brings more goodies such as 18-inch alloys, body-colored fender flares, unique headlight surrounds, grille inserts, and bumper trim, dual-zone climate control, 7-inch Uconnect 4 display, 115-volt center console outlet, and more.

2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon

As for the range-topping Rubicon, it’s the one to have if extreme off-roading ranks high on your list. Kicking off at $43,545, the Rubicon adds hardware such as a 4:1 low range Rock-Trac transfer case, 4.10 ratio wide-track Dana 44 axles, electronically locking front and rear differentials, a front sway bar disconnect, Fox monotube shocks, front skid plate, steel rear bumper and high clearance black fender flares.

The Rubicon also brings LED headlights with specific surround trim, unique grille inserts, unique 18-inch wheels shod with 285/70 R17 Falken Wildpeak all-terrain tire, rock rails instead of tubular side steps, two rear tow hooks and premium cloth seats.

2020 Jeep Gladiator Launch Edition

Finally, there’s the Launch Edition model which we detailed earlier. Based on the Rubicon, it’s a limited-run special that ticks all the option boxes and starts at $60,815.

Regardless of the trim level, every Gladiator is a convertible that features either hard or soft tops. All models are powered by the same 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 producing 285 hp and 260 lb-ft (352 Nm) of torque channeled to all four wheels via a standard six-speed manual or an optional eight-speed auto transmission.

Jeep will also offer a diesel option from 2020, a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 rated at 260 hp and 442 lb-ft (599 Nm) of torque that will only be available with the automatic transmission.
