For whatever reason, car owners who like modifying their vehicles typically opt for power upgrades and exterior alterations before they even consider upgrading the interior of their vehicle. Neidfaktor is here to show you that interior modifications, too, can really make your car unique.

The German interior specialists know a thing or two about upgrading a cockpit, and recently got its hands on an eye-catching Audi R8 V10.

Neidfaktor was tasked with designing an interior that matches the unique black and neon-yellow wrap covering the exterior of the German supercar. To do this, the tuner totally stripped out the cabin of the R8 and set about bathing it in luscious new materials to make it feel much more up-market.

To start with, much of the car’s interior is now covered in soft black Alcantara, including the headliner, dashboard, gear selector, parts of the seats, and the steering wheel. Additionally, there is new leather and alcantara upholstery on the seats and door panels.

To give the interior some color, Neidfaktor implemented neon yellow stitching throughout most of the cabin and even created honeycomb-shaped stitching for select areas like the door panels. Neon yellow trim has also been added to the steering wheel while a host of matte carbon fiber parts complete the look.

Neidfaktor says that Audi R8 buyers looking for similar interior upgrades will need to cough up between 15,000 euros and 17,000 euros ($16,850 – $19,100). That’s a lot of money, but if you own an R8 and want to tweak it to your liking, you can probably afford to pay as much as a small hatchback on interior alterations.
