As part of its Centenary celebration, Bentley Motors has unveiled a limited edition Home Furniture collection at the Salone del Mobile fair in Milan.

There will be a limited run of 100 special edition pieces of the chair, foot-stool and desk, all featuring materials inspired by the automaker’s past, present and future. All pieces feature the Bentley Centenary logo etched into their metalwork.

The Home collection is inspired by Bentley’s design and was put together using high quality manufacturing execution. The desk, armchair and foot stool are also meant to reflect brand values.

“The items form an exclusive capsule collection hand-crafted using advanced techniques and contemporary materials. The metal frames of the pieces are crafted from gold-plated iron, whilst the dark stained oak features are brushed with liquid gold. Each piece celebrates the spirit of a glorious century, whilst looking forward to the years ahead.”

This three-piece set is by no means the Bentley’s first attempt at building furniture, as they have previously manufactured sofas, armchairs, beds and more. However, this new collection really stands out thanks to its retro-modern design.

No pricing has been released yet, but as the old adage goes, if you have to ask…

Bentley is among the few automakers with a truly longstanding history of producing luxury and performance-oriented products. The brand was founded back in 1919 by W.O Bentley in Cricklewood, North London, and quickly went on to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1924, 1927, 1929, 1930, before claiming another victory in 2003.
