This 1994 Mazda RX-7 Touring has just 4600 miles (7402 km) on the clock and could sell for triple figures on Bring A Trailer.
It is no secret that many Japanese sports cars from the 1990s are going up in value at the moment and finding a pristine RX-7 like this which remains stock is very difficult. It’s, therefore, not surprising that just a few hours after bidding on the car opened, it had already attracted a top bid of $40,000 at the time of writing.
The selling dealership notes that the sports car was unused by the previous owner for roughly 12 years before changing hands. A recent service saw the oil and oil filter changed, new spark plugs fitted, and a new battery installed. Additionally, the fuel tank was drained and refilled with fresh petrol.

One of the nicest features of this RX-7 is the Montego Blue Metallic paint scheme which appears almost pristine and free of any major scuffs you may expect of a 25-year-old sports car. As this is a Touring model, it includes fog lights, a sunroof, and a rear wiper. The car also comes equipped with a factory rear spoiler and hasn’t undergone a single exterior modification.
Inside, the tan leather-trimmed seats remain in tip-top condition and there are also color-matched floor mats. Audio is provided by a Bose Acoustic Wave sound system which came fitted in the car from the factory.
Powering the ’94 RX-7 is a 1.3-liter sequentially-turbocharged rotary engine with 255 hp at 6500 rpm and 217 lb-ft (294 Nm) of torque at 5000 rpm. This power is sent through the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
