Audi has brought the Black Edition spec to the fifth generation A6. Available for both Saloon and Avant body styles, regardless of the selected engine, the new spec can be had from £44,635 ($57,705/€51,558) in the United Kingdom.
Based on the S Line grade, the Black Edition adds a distinctive dark look for the grille surround, front air intakes, side mirror casings and rear diffuser. Rear privacy glass is standard, the wheels have been upgraded from 19- to 20-inches and feature a matte titanium look.
On top of that, the LED headlights have been replaced by Matrix units, while the estate version features black roof rails.

A similar theme has been chosen for the interior, which gets leather and Alcantara front sport seats, plus a perforated leather multi-function steering wheel with paddle shifters and dark brushed aluminum inlays. The two screens that form the MMI touch response system are standard and work together with the 7-inch digital instrument cluster. The Audi Smartphone Interface is also included, alongside other equipment offered at no additional cost.
Getting the MMI Navigation Plus system, a larger 10.1-inch upper screen (standard is 8.8 in), Audi Virtual Cockpit, wireless charging pad for smartphones and improved voice recognition requires selecting the Technology Pack. The powered door closure, acoustic glazing and Bang & Olufsen sound system are also optional extras.
As for safety, customers can get the Tour and City Assist option packs that add adaptive cruise assist, side assist, high-beam assist and traffic sign recognition system.
