Making a right (or left) turn in a rural environment is, presumably, something you at least know how to perform adequately once you get your driving license. And yet, lots of accidents seem to happen that way.

Recently, the driver of a white Toyota sedan decided to make a right turn from the second lane while the cammer was driving in the right lane.

Impact was inevitable, as there was nowhere for the cammer to go. Thus, the Toyota was hit in its right rear end, spun, crossed over to the other side of the road and potentially hit a stationary SUV. We can’t see if that did indeed happen, but it does seem likely.

As for the dashcam vehicle, after the initial hit, it manages to come to a halt with a little help from the curb, which is a good thing because it would have otherwise rammed that grey Dodge Charger, whose driver eventually got out to help.

Without an official report, we don’t know if anybody was hurt following this crash. Given the speed of the cars and the angle of the impact, it’s hard to imagine that anybody would have been seriously injured, if at all – we guess the ones more in danger would have been either the driver of the Toyota or the driver/passengers of the other SUVs, if that was eventually involved in the crash as well, that is.
