The official debut of the all-new Chevrolet Corvette C8 is still more than two months away so until then we can only hope GM reveals more revealing teasers and peels off more camouflage from its test prototypes.

To sweeten the wait for all you Corvette fans, we want to show you a new rendering that’s completely different to the many CGIs you’ve seen so far. Authored by HanbinDesign and brought to our attention by Corvette Blogger, this image was not created using Corvette C8 test prototypes as a starting point.

Think of it as more of an exercise of imagination than an accurate indication of what the finished item will look like. That said, it’s probably one of the most striking interpretations of the upcoming Corvette we’ve seen so far.

It looks very aggressive and we especially dig the way the artist imagined the A-pillars which seem suspended in the air in the area of the side mirrors. Speaking of the side mirrors, their small size indicates they are probably rearview cameras. In reality, the production car will feature real side mirrors.

The aero kit looks really aggressive with highlights including the sculpted hood, sharp front wing, and side skirts. At the rear, the image is rather blurry in the area of the spoiler so we imagine this is a work in progress.

The big vertical air intakes located behind the doors are a clear indication of the engine’s position while the vents located on the outer side of the headlights are a nice touch as well. Let us know what you think about this rendering in the comments.
