We’ve been hearing about Spada Codatronca’s new Monza speedster for quite some time now, and today, the track-focused sports car was finally revealed at the Top Marques Monaco show. Our friends from Autoblog.nl were on hand in Monaco to shoot some photos of the Corvette-based model that will be built in limited numbers.

The Monza is powered by a modified version of the Corvette Z06’s 7.0-liter V8 engine mounted behind the front seats. The American V8 gains a pair of superchargers for an output of 700HP and an impressive peak torque of 950Nm (700.6 lb-ft). The lightweight two-seater model tips the scales at 1,180kg (2,602 pounds). The rear-wheel drive sports car is said to complete the standard 0-100km/h (62mph) sprint in just 3 seconds and is capable of reaching a top speed of 335 km/h (208mph).

The hardcore sports car measures 4,759mm in length, 1,942 in width and just 1,130mm in height, and rides on 19-inch wheels, which at the back, are wrapped in beefy 345/35R 19 tires.

There’s no word on official pricing yet, but the limited production model is expected to sell for around €250,000 or about US$362,000 at today’s exchange rates.
