Hyundai’s first tuner concept for this year’s SEMA show is the Rockstar Energy Moab Extreme Off-roader Santa Fe Sport Concept.
Built to withstand some of the world’s most challenging off-road conditions, this concept was designed specifically to be able to tackle a certain region in Utah.
“The Rockstar Energy Moab Extreme Concept was specifically designed to withstand the extraordinary demands of Moab off-road terrain,” said Nic Ashby, Rockstar Marketing. “Leveraging the outstanding Santa Fe Sport platform and powertrain, we definitely pushed its capabilities to new limits to conquer the pinnacle of challenges at Moab.”
A whole bunch of exterior and interior modifications were made to ensure this SUV wouldn’t need to run away from a tough challenge off-road.
The Rockstar team added a 6-piston front and 4-piston rear brake kit, coil-over suspension and 2.5″ Internal Bypass shocks with reservoirs, 17″ Machete off-road bead-lock wheels with 35×12.50R17 Baja MTZ off-road tires, OEM upgraded headlights and taillights, custom intercooler, downpipe, Rockstar Energy Catch Can, Coolant Overflow Reservoir and some Yukon Gear and Axle accessories.
Furthermore, there’s a Kicker audio system, a custom leather interior, custom skid plates and bumpers with a Warn winch and Factor 55 link, custom roof rack with Bulldog LED lights, a MagnaFlow exhaust, a Nitrous Express wet system, bedliner protection, thermal heat protection, magic mounts, Bluetooth speakers, lifestyle accessories, Bantam 12V source, Cascadia tents and a portable tank for refilling tires on the trail.
The 2017 SEMA show takes place Oct 31 – Nov 3rd, 2017.
