Volkswagen customers in the UK are now able to arrange two-day test drives with the e-Golf, picking the car up from their local dealership, and returning it 48 hours later, instead of just after a few hours.
This strategy was implemented so as to encourage buyers to experience the German automaker’s range of electric vehicles, like the e-Golf currently, priced from £30,340 ($38,561), or the upcoming ID.3, which is expected to arrive next year.
In the UK, as a zero-emission vehicle, the e-Golf is exempt from both Congestion and Ultra Low Emission Zone charges, while its road tax is currently rated at zero pounds. Also, if you’re a company car driver, you’ll be interested to know that the e-Golf will have a Benefit In Kind rate discounted to just 2% beginning with April of 2020.

The two-day experience lets people challenge the e-Golf with all sorts of scenarios particular to their car needs, and for the e-Golf to demonstrate its numerous qualities.”
As for performance. The e-Golf boasts a synchronous electric motor with up to 136 PS (134 HP) available almost instantly. It also has a range of up to 144 miles (231 km) in the WLTP cycle.
