If you needed proof that there is still demand for naturally-aspirated performance cars , this video of 38 R8 V10s being delivered at Audi’s German HQ on the same day will show you that these old-school engines still hold their appeal among enthusiasts.
The automaker doesn’t normally deliver so many R8s to customers in one go, but recently did just that earlier this month at the Audi Forum in Ingolstadt. This video from Seen Through Glass takes a look at many of the best-looking examples from this huge fleet of V10-powered supercars.
One of the R8s which immediately catches the eyeis a Spyder painted in Vegas Yellow but with a satin finish. Those looking to pick up a new R8 can opt for the range-topping, 611 HP Performance model, complete with a fixed rear wing and a number of other bespoke components. However, lesser versions can look just as good as long as they are painted in nice shades and colors – certain shades of blue do seem to fit the car’s shape pretty nicely.

Audi unveiled the revamped R8 in October 2018. Sales kicked off in Europe earlier this year and the new model looks significantly more aggressive than its predecessor, thanks to styling changes like the three slits on the hood which pay tribute to the Ur-quattro, modified front bumper, and a number of smaller updates all around.
