Several pictures of the 2020 BMW X6 have surfaced online.
Posted by Autoblog.nl, the images reveal the model has been equipped with a more aggressive front bumper that features larger air intakes. The crossover also has slender headlights and a massive twin kidney grille.
Moving further back, we can see a sculpted hood and flowing bodywork. There’s also front fender vents, a steeply sloping roof and prominent wheel arches.
Bigger changes occur in the back as the model has a ventilated rear fascia and slim taillights which echo those used on the 8-Series. We can also see a sporty diffuser and an edgier tailgate with an integrated spoiler.
Interior pictures are sadly missing, but the cabin should largely carryover from the X5. As a result, we can expect a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment system. Speaking of technology, the X6 should be offered with an assortment of driver assistance systems including Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Lane Keeping Assistant and an Automatic Lane Change function.

Engine options should carryover from the X5 and that means Americans can expect a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six developing 335 hp (250 kW / 340 PS) and 330 lb-ft (447 Nm) of torque. It should be connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission and a standard all-wheel drive system. This setup enables the X5 xDrive40i to run from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 5.3 seconds, so expect the X6 variant to post a similar figure.
Buyers looking for something more powerful should be able to opt for the X6 xDrive50i. Like its X5 counterpart, the model is slated to have a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 with 456 hp (340 kW / 462 PS) and 479 lb-ft (649 Nm) of torque. Thanks to the extra power, we can expect a 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) time of around 4.6 seconds.
