If you haven’t heard of the Prato Orage supercar, we don’t blame you. However, the French company behind this creation will hope to generate some buzz about it at this weekend’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The covers to the Orage were first taken off back in 2017, but not a huge number of details about the supercar have been made known. With that being said, we are quite confident in saying that only a single unit exists and that the same unit pictured will be the one to feature in Goodwood’s Supercar Paddock.

The most important thing to know about the Prato Orage is that it is said to be powered by the most powerful naturally-aspirated V8 engine currently used by a ‘production car’. This engine reportedly displaces 8.1-liters and delivers no less than 900 hp and 770 lb-ft (1044 Nm) of torque. It’s not clear where this engine comes from but it is reportedly potent enough to send the Orage to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.7 seconds and through to a 370 km/h (230 mph) top speed.
Other (known) important mechanical aspects of the vehicle include a carbon fiber driveshaft, a hydroformed aluminum chassis, and carbon ceramic brakes. The lights also reportedly use OLED technology and 24-carat gold connections are used for the electronic systems.
Driving the car up the famed Goodwood hill climb for each of the four days will be World Endurance Championship driver Oliver Webb.
