Alfa Romeo Puts A Price Tag On Giulia And Stelvio Quadrifoglio Racing

The Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio Racing Limited Editions have been launched in the United Kingdom.

Premiering locally at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where they will run up the hill, they’ve been created to celebrate the brand’s F1 ties with Sauber. The initial allocation for Britain counts 10 units of the Giulia and just three of the Stelvio, priced from £89,500 ($111,574/€99,746) and £96,500 ($121,378/€107,548), respectively, on-the-road.

Mimicking the theme of Alfa Romeo Racing’s F1 cars, both models have a Trofeo White and Competizione Red dual-tone paint, complemented by the dark alloy wheels. The exterior look is completed by Sauber’s Aero Enhancement package that adds a unique front splitter, side winglets on the front fenders, wider side skirts and a prominent spoiler.

The interior sports a similar racing theme, with leather and Alcantara trim, red stitching and seatbelts, carbon fiber inserts, Sparco racing seats and a Mopar automatic gear selector. Another defining feature is the ‘Alfa Romeo Racing’ badge that commemorates the brand’s 10 F1 victories in 1950 and 1951. Standard equipment also includes tinted windows, Harman Kardon premium sound system, 8.8-inch infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and DAB radio, and adaptive cruise control.

Finally, each car gets the Akrapovic titanium exhaust system that adds an extra 10 PS (10 hp / 7 kW) to the 2.9-liter, twin-turbo V6. Thus, the engine now makes 520 PS (513 hp / 382 kW) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque, rocketing the Giulia to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.9 seconds and the Stelvio in 3.8, with the former maxing out at 307 km/h (191 mph) and the latter at 283 km/h (176 mph).
