Renowned Volkswagen Group tuner ABT Sportsline has added yet another product to its vast portfolio: the Seat Tarraco.
The Spanish cousin of the Volkswagen Tiguan and Skoda Kodiaq has gained a few upgrades and a photo shoot to highlight its revised stance.
For its latest project, ABT has chosen the 187 HP (190 PS), 2.0-liter diesel version of the mid-size SUV, which is hooked up to a 7-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. After fitting their in-house-developed engine control unit, ABT raised output it to 217 HP (220 PS) and 440 Nm (325 lb-ft) of torque.

Oversized wheels are a trend right now, so it’s now surprise that the ABT-tuned Tarraco sports a 21-inch set that, due to the large wheel arches, don’t look entirely out of place. Apart from the ten-spoke, diamond-machined and mystic black finished rims, the tuner also offers other alloys as well, in 19, 20 or 21 inches and different designs.
This is probably only the beginning when it comes to ABT’s work on Seat’s SUV, as the firm usually makes other parts for their projects such as bodywork add-ons, exhaust tips, suspension upgrades, special badging and illuminated door sills.
