Remember the 2018 Sierra All Mountain Concept? Well, it’s back, except it’s based on brand new underpinnings.
In November 2017, GMC revealed the Sierra 2500HD All Mountain concept which, at the time, was described as a “one-of-a-kind snow-climbing machine.” Now it has launched its successor.
Based on the all-new platform of the 2019 Sierra 1500 AT4 4WD Crew Cab, the new All Mountain concept looks very familiar thanks to the tank-like tracks designed to navigate rugged, snow-covered off-road terrain. Speaking of snow, the unusual truck has been unveiled in Canada for the first time as a leading vehicle for the Calgary Stampede Parade.

Besides the 105 Series Tracks supplied by Mattracks, the 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4 All Mountain also features Putco 9001406 LED front grille lights and a custom paint scheme. Obviously, the ride height increases courtesy of a Fabtech K1134DL 8-inch lift kit to make room for the snow tracks.
The spec sheet also includes a custom LED lighting package, Kicker Audio 200-Watt Powered Subwoofer Kit , and a Cat-Back performance exhaust system for the 420 horsepower 6.2-liter V8 mated to the 10L80 10-speed transmission.
“As official partners of the Calgary Stampede, I’m proud to unveil this truck leading a foursome of our all-new Next Generation GMC Sierra’s. This year we have launched light and heavy-duty trucks and this All Mountain is a great extension to demonstrate the brands premium, bold and innovative positioning. I can’t wait to see the crowd’s reaction!” said Michael MacPhee, Director of GMC Canada.
The GMC Sierra All Mountain will remain on display at the South Entrance of the Calgary Stampede until July 14, 2019.
