Only a few weeks after the new generation Dacia Duster celebrated its world debut at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show, rendering artist have started pondering what the Romanian brand could do next with its latest crossover.

In this case, the budget SUV was imagined by XTomi with a sporty suit, highlighted by a modified grille, which also gets the GT logo beneath the Dacia badge, new bumpers, side skirts, blue exterior shade, and black wheels that remind of the Renault Megane GT, in some way.

This interpretation of the 2018 Dacia Duster is obviously just for kicks, because the Romanian automaker has no plans of expanding their current lineup.

But if they did develop a GT version of the SUV, aside from the visual mods, it would also need a tuned chassis, and a potent engine/engines under the hood.

Perhaps the Renault Megane GT could lend its two powertrains: the TCe 205PS (202hp) petrol, and dCi 165PS (163hp) diesel, would be interesting candidates, as both of them would top the current TCe 125PS (123hp) and dCi 110PS (108hp) offered on the new Duster.
