At launch, the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray can be configured in 12 exterior colors and this video compiles together images and videos to show what these colors look like.

Perhaps the color most people are familiar with for the 2020 Corvette Stingray is Torch Red as this was the color the car was presented in during its global unveiling a few weeks ago. If Corvette buyers don’t like red, they have a number of other colors and shades to choose from, including some just as bright as Torch Red.

Arguably the brightest color in the C8 Corvette palette is Rapid Blue, a shade somewhat similar to Porsche’s Riviera Blue. Another bright option includes Sebring Orange while customers who want a dash of color but don’t want something too bright can opt for the likes of Long Beach Red and Elkhart Lake Blue. Among the more simple shades include Arctic White, Black, Ceramic Grey, Zeus Bronze, Shadow Grey, and Black Silver.

The final color available for the new ‘Vette is Accelerate Yellow but this color has yet to be seen out in public so the video relies on renderings from the mid-engine car’s online configurator to preview what it looks like.

It will be interesting to see what the take rate on each color is after the new Corvette has been on the market for a couple of years. The most popular color for the C7 Corvette in 2018 was Arctic White ahead of Black and Torch Red and in all likelihood, these three colors will be the most popular for the C8. Sebring Orange was the least popular in 2018 accounting for just 0.8 per cent of sales.
