The 2019 Kona Hybrid will be joining the rest of the brand’s electrified lineup in UK showrooms from September 26, and Hyundai has just announced its pricing that starts at £22,495 ($27,339/€24,392).
The entry-level SE is generously equipped, with 16-inch wheels, climate control, electric parking brake, 7-inch infotainment system with touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, lane keep assist, driver attention alert and rear parking sensors.
For £24,295 ($29,527/€26,344), you can unlock the Kona Hybrid Premium, which trades the 7-inch screen for a 10.25-inch unit with navigation, while also adding 18-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry and go, Krell audio, wireless charging pad, rear privacy glass, automatic windscreen wipers and front fog lamps.

Gear such as LED headlights with high-beam assist, LED taillights, leather seats, heated, ventilated and electrically adjustable front seats, head-up display and automatic emergency braking are reserved for the Kona Hybrid Premium SE, which starts at £27,195 ($33,051/€29,488).
The Galactic Grey exterior color is standard, whereas the rest of the seven available shades will cost you £565 ($687/€613). The Kona Hybrid can also be equipped with the SmartSense 1, 2 or 3 safety packs, depending on the selected spec.
All versions are powered by a hybrid powertrain comprising a 105 PS (104 hp / 77 kW), 1.6-liter GDi ICE and a 44 PS (43 hp / 32 kW) electric motor that’s paired to a six-speed DCT and 2WD. The Kona Hybrid SE accelerates to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 11.2 seconds, while the Premium and Premium SE are 0.4 seconds slower and top speed for all stands at 185 km/h (115 mph).
