Lexus has just launched a new special edition of its LC luxury coupe, named the Inspiration Series.
The model is limited to 100 units in the United States, where it will go on sale this fall with pricing to be announced close to the on-sale date. It will also arrive in European showrooms in October.
Externally, the special edition it is instantly recognizable by the Nori Green Pearl that is exclusive to the LC 500 Inspiration Series and the two-tone, 21-inch wheels.

The interior has went through a makeover as well, getting a two-tone color scheme that blends the Bespoke Saddle Tan, another unique feature, with a darker shade of Alcantara. Providing further contrast to the tan seats is the Black Amber leather trim applied on the dashboard, center console, doors and steering wheel, with brown stitching. Inspired by the geometric shapes found in the taillights, the laser-cut, custom sill plates are also model-specific.
The LC 500’s 5.0-liter V8 carries over with no mechanical changes, which means it still puts out 471 horsepower (478 PS / 351 kW) and 398 pound-feet (540 Nm) of torque, directed to the rear axle via a 10-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Like the stock variant, the Inspiration Series hits the 60 mph (96 km/h) mark 4.4 seconds and tops out at 168 mph (270 km/h).
