The Huracan Performante is one of the fastest production cars around a racetrack, a feat made all the more remarkable by the fact that, unlike virtually all of its rivals, it shuns forced induction.
This is certainly one reason why the it remains so popular, because its screaming naturally-aspirated 5.2-liter V10 is unmatched when it comes to aural pleasure by any of its rivals.
However, eager to enjoy a little extra power, the owner of a white Performante decided to outfit his supercar with a supercharger and take it to the Johnny Bohmer Proving Grounds for some high-speed testing.

No details about the supercharger kit adorning this Huracan are mentioned in the video, the video description, or the comments section, but it is estimated that the addition of a supercharger probably adds at least 80 HP to the engine’s output. That may not sound like heaps when you consider the Performante leaves the Lamborghini factory with 631 HP, but it is certainly enough to make for a discernible difference in acceleration.
In this video, the car accelerates down the half-mile and manages to record a top speed of 168.7 mph (271.5 km/h), a rather frightening figure that shows how the addition of a relatively simple supercharger setup seriously increases the baby Lambo’s already mighty straight-line performance.
Even so, in the world of modified Huracans, of which we’ve seen quite a few, this is not that impressive, as some modified examples feature twin turbochargers and put out well in excess of 2,000 HP.
