Lamborghini has dropped a new teaser video of the Terzo Millennio-inspired hypercar it will unveil at the Frankfurt Auto Show that’s opening on September 10th to the press (and two days later to the public).
The teaser shows a Lamborghini designer sketching out the front end of the new car. It looks significantly different than both the Huracan and Aventador, thanks largely to the presence of LED daytime running lights in the shape of a sideways ‘Y’. Sitting directly above them to be small vertical headlights.
Also visible from this sketch, as well as a previous teaser image, is the sharp double-bubble roof design that’s been carried through from the Terzo Millennio concept to the production car.

No details are known at this point, but it is reportedly codenamed LB48H and will be launched as a limited-edition hypercar in a similar vein to models like the Reventon, Sesto Elemento, Veneno and Centenario. Its design should also give us a hint of what the successor to the Aventador will look like.
Reports assert that the LB48H will combine a naturally-aspirated V12 engine with up to three electric motors to pump out approximately 1000 HP, which, if true, will make it the fastest production car Lamborghini has ever built.
With exclusivity and hyper performance comes a great price tag, and the new hybrid hypercar will allegedly cost around $2.2 million. Production will be capped to just a handful of units, and we’re told they’ve all been sold out already.
