If you don’t drive an electric or plug-in hybrid, then you might not care that much about charging stations. However, just because you do not need something doesn’t mean you have the right to act in a manner that impedes those who do.

This incident involved a Toyota 4Runner and the driver of a Tesla. The latter arrived on location only to find the Japanese crossover parked directly in front of a charger.

The footage then shows the Tesla being maneuvered into the adjacent space, leaving little to no room on the passenger side of the 4Runner – which may or may not have been done on purpose.

When the driver and passenger of the SUV do arrive, they find a man in a black t-shirt (the driver of the Tesla) who appears rather unsympathetic to whatever it was they were saying – and understandably so.

It’s a good that things didn’t escalate any further, especially since the Toyota driver looked, for a brief second, like he may have been willing to have a physical confrontation; good thing his passenger calms him down, telling him to “Just go”, according to our amateur lip reading skills.

In the end, while we understand why the Tesla driver may have felt the need to teach those people a lesson, his behavior could have easily led to him getting into trouble. A simple call to the authorities would have probably been more appropriate, but that’s easy to say when you’re not the one who’s p@ssed off, isn’t it?
