Did you think Citroen’s C3 Aircross is highly customizable? Welcome to the world of luxury cars, where Bentley is offering 7 billion (!) different configurations for the 2020 Continental GT.

Before spending hours building your ideal Continental GT using the official configurator, let’s go though some of the novelties, which are meant to make inter-continental cruising more pleasant.

Offered as a £3,150 ($3,872/€3,508) option on the Continental GT Coupe W12, the Panoramic Glass Roof features polarized glass that reduces glare. Whenever they want to feel cocooned, drivers can electronically operate the blind, which is clad in Alcantara that matches one of the 15 headliner colors available from the main palette.

Another option available on all models is the High Gloss Carbon Fiber technical finish, which is applied to the fascia and door waistrails, contrasting the Piano Black Veneer center console.

Sitting at the core of the lineup is the Continental GT V8 which, as its name implies, packs a 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8, with 550 PS (542 hp / 404 kW) and 770 Nm (568 lb-ft) of torque. Nought to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) is dispatched in 4.0 seconds in the Coupe and 4.1 seconds in the Convertible, and top speed is 318 km/h (198 mph).

The two body styles of the Continental GT V8 are distinguished by the V8 badging on the front wheels and quad exhaust pipes. They’re offered with standard 20-inch, 10-spoke alloy wheels, which can be replaced at a premium by other designs that measure up to 22 inches.

In spite of the massive rims, the coupe remains a very comfortable car thanks to the air suspension. It’s also highly-maneuverable, as it packs lightweight anti-roll bars and optional adaptive chassis for the company’s Intelligent Dynamic Ride System, which controls the ride comfort and lateral roll.

The Active All-Wheel Drive System, electric Power-Assisted Steering, Active Lane Assist, Park Assist and Traffic Jam Assist are all included, alongside the driver-focused digital instrument panel. The rotating display, with a 12.3-inch touchscreen housed in a three-sided unit, is an option.
