Once buyers get their hands on the 2018 Ford Mustang, they’ll be able to take it to Steeda for some visual and performance upgrades.

Apart from the custom cold air intakes, lowering springs, sway bars and multiple IRS components, the tuner is also boosting power on the 5.0-liter Coyote V8.

There are also revised fenders, a new hood and new bumper, all of which make the car look more aggressive – an appropriate update seen as how we can “expect some big horsepower numbers from this platform,” stated Steeda Autosports VP of Operations, Glen Vitale.

He also said that we can expect “handling characteristics unmatched by any preceding Mustang with this new platform,” as reported by Ford NXT.

Since MY2018 Mustangs with Performance Packs feature the GT350’s MagneRide suspension, Steeda has been testing out suspension components designed specifically for V8-powered Mustangs with MagneRide systems, as well as EcoBoost Performance Package models.

“Just like other platforms we are very focused on making sure the parts we develop complement what Ford has already done in order to work as a system to deliver maximum potential from both the powertrain and suspension,” concluded Vitale.
