In Cape Cod, Massachusetts, a man by the name of Ron owns a Chevrolet pickup truck that looks like it is being driven in reverse. However, it is not; it has simply had its body spun around. Let us explain.

The description in the following video says that the owner of the truck lifted the body of the chassis, span it around, and put it back on. Building it took no less than four years and, remarkably, the vehicle is registered and road legal after passing official state safety inspections in Massachusetts.

In the video, we can see that the original turn signals have been converted into brake lights. No close-up footage of the interior is available, but it is the only telltale sign that things have been reversed.

We can’t imagine building this creation would have been easy, and it is unclear if the engine remains under the hood and now hangs out behind the cabin. In any case, switching over the interior means the steering wheel, pedals, and other essential parts have been relocated as well – and the tiny side mirrors that have been affixed to the A-pillars to ensure the driver can see what’s going on behind him are a nice touch.

We can imagine the surprise of other road users seeing this Chevy truck going down the road rear-end first. Which, we suppose, was Ron’s intention when embarking on this rather unusual conversion – which he, admittedly, nailed.
