UK pricing details of the all-electric Polestar 2 have surfaced thanks to the company’s online configurator.

First introduced to the world at the Geneva Motor Show back in March, the Polestar 2 will be the company’s first mass-market EV after the limited-run Polestar 1. In the UK, the Launch Edition model will be available from £49,000 ($60,422), putting it right in line with the 59,900 euro price tag in Germany and its $63,000 starting price in the U.S.

All versions of the Polestar 2 Launch Edition come complete with the Performance Pack that includes uprated Ohlins dampers, high-performance Brembo brakes, 20-inch alloy wheels and a number of gold accents. The Launch Edition will be the only variant available for the car’s first 12 months in production.

Sitting beneath the bodywork of the Tesla Model 3 rival is Volvo’s CMA platform that incorporates a 78 kWh battery pack and a pair of electric motors to deliver a combined 402 HP and 487 lb-ft (660 Nm) of torque. Polestar is targeting a range of 275 miles (442 km) under EPA standards in the U.S. and 310 miles (500 km) in the European WLTP cycle.

While the configurator reveals pricing for the Polestar 2 Launch Edition, it doesn’t offer details about the entry-level model. However, we already know that pricing for this variant will start at €39,900 in Europe.

Polestar will build the 2 in China and intends on commencing global deliveries in the middle of 2020 and it will initially be sold in China, the U.S., Canada, the UK, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden.
