BMW‘s new M8 Competition Gran Coupe model is already available to order in the UK, with pricing starting from £120,935. First customer deliveries are scheduled for early 2020.
Customers who crave exclusivity can also aim for the First Edition model, limited to just five units in Britain. It features exclusive design cues such as its BMW Individual Aurora Diamond Green metallic exterior paint finish, with Gold Bronze accents.
As far as its public debut is concerned, this fast four-door Bimmer will make an appearance at the Los Angeles Auto Show next month.
Standard equipment for this Competition version includes Adaptive LED headlights with high beam assistant, an M-specific head-up display, M sports seats, four-zone air conditioning, front and rear heated seats, Driving Assistant and the Parking Assistant Plus. Meanwhile, BMW Live Cockpit Professional with sat-nav and the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant also come at no extra cost.
Ticking the options list can land you features such as Driving Assistant Professional with Steering and Lane Control assistance, Lane-Keeping with Active Side Collision Protection, the Evasion Assistant, Junction Warning, Wrong-Way Driving Warning and Front-Crossing Traffic Warning systems.
The standard Parking Assistant Plus also comes with a rear-view camera, Top View, Panorama View and 3D Top View functions. Meanwhile, the BMW Drive Recorder can store footage taken via different points around the vehicle.

As for performance, the M8 Competition Gran Coupe is powered by a high-revving 4.4-liter TwinPower Turbo V8 engine, producing 616 HP (625 PS) and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque. In a straight line, it allows the car to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in a mere 3.2 seconds.
