Rolls-Royce continues to roll out special editions and the latest batch is inspired by the “mood of Moscow nights.”
Created exclusively for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Moscow, the Wraith Black & Bright collection is a series of three Black Badge models with an eye-catching two-tone paint job. The lower sections of the cars are painted Brennen Green, Orange Metallic and Twilight Purple, while the upper section is finished in Diamond Black.
The unique styling continues in the cabin as the Black & Bright collection has a special starlight headliner that illuminates in green, purple or orange to match the exterior color of the car.
Drivers will also find aluminum-threaded carbon fiber trim and black leather upholstery with contrasting Brennen Green, Orange Metallic or Twilight Purple accents. Other highlights include an embroidered infinity symbol and special tread plates which note the name of the special edition and the fact that it is a “special build for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Moscow.”
According to the dealership’s managing director, Tatiana Fitzgerald, the cars draw inspiration from the green lights of the Moscow City district as well as the orange illumination of the Hotel Ukraine. She added, “Our clients conquer the business world by pushing the boundaries and wish to celebrate their success. [The] Wraith Black Badge is the natural choice to encapsulate this spirit in the ‘Black and Bright’ collection – ambition, unconventional thinking and pure joy of life in the city that never sleeps.”
Roll-Royce didn’t say much else about the cars, but the Wraith Black Badge has a twin-turbo 6.6-liter V12 engine that produces 624 hp (465 kW / 632 PS) and 642 lb-ft (870 Nm) of torque. It is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission which enables the coupe to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 4.3 seconds, before hitting a limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).
