While the new Isuzu D-Max is getting ready to be presented in Thailand, before going on sale in global markets next year, the outgoing D-Max has received a new special edition in the United Kingdom, named the D-Max Blade+.
Limited to 150 units, it builds on the regular Blade Double Cab and starts at £29,999 ($36,647/€33,395) with a manual gearbox, and from £30,999 ($37,869/€34,509) for the automatic model. The extra £1,190 ($1,453/€1,325) over the D-Max Blade is justified by the addition of extra gear.

You can choose between Cosmic Black Mica, Obsidian Grey Mica and Spinel Red Mica exterior shades for the D-Max Blade+, before having to decide whether you want the Alpha Type E Canopy or the Mountain Top Roller Cover with Black Sports Bar. The first one has pop out side windows, black roof bars and central locking, and the latter is said to combine practical storage with a sporty look.
On the outside, the limited edition pickup truck is adorned with a front skirt, additional lights in the front bumper, ‘Blade+’ decal and puddle lamps, and 19-inch Gun Metal alloy wheels. You’ll also get front and rear cameras, pro-lift tailgate assist, special upholstery, ‘Blade+’ branded illuminated door sills and floor mats, ‘Blade+’ start up screen, wireless charging pad for compatible smartphones and a numbered interior badge.
Isuzu said that the D-Max Blade+, which is already available for order before arriving at dealerships this week, has a 3,500 kg (7,716 lbs) towing capability and is offered with 125,000-mile (201,168-km) / 5-year warranty, and 5-year roadside assistance in the UK and continental Europe.
