Don’t recognize the car in these pictures? Well, that’s because the classic ‘Cadillac’ you’re looking at never actually existed in real life. Instead, it comes from the mind of Abimelec Design and morphs together the designs of two of GM’s most recognizable vehicles into one.
The basis for the car is a 1959 C1 Chevrolet Corvette, with a number of subtle changes made to the ‘front end that sports re-shaped quad headlights, some new chrome trimmings, and a different grille.

Many of the new exterior panels of the car have been inspired by the Cadillac de Ville models from the late 1950s and 1960s. This is particularly obvious at the rear, with pronounced fins stretching above the rear wheel arches and a set of four pointed taillights much like the Coupe de Ville of the day. Also found at the rear are some chrome trimmings and dual tailpipes neatly incorporated into the bumper.
Abimelec Design has imagined the car, dubbed the ‘Roadster DeVille’, as being outfitted with a 390 cubic-inch Cadillac V8 from that era.
It’s extremely unlikely that anyone who owns a classic first-generation Corvette would ever consider transforming it with Cadillac-inspired parts to create a car that looks similar to this one. Doing so would simply be sacrilegious, especially for a car as iconic and important as the C1 ‘Vette, so we guess it’s a good thing that this will firmly remain in the virtual world.
