The 2020 European Car of the Year nominees have been announced. The long list includes a total of 35 models from different segments and counts one that has yet to be presented: the all-new Volkswagen Golf Mk8.
In order to be eligible, the cars have to be on sale now or before the end of the year in at least five European countries. The jurors will trim down the list to 7 before November 25, whereas the final round of voting will determine the big winner, which will be announced on March 2, 2020, on the eve of the Geneva Motor Show.
