Ford Performance and ARB 4×4 Accessories have joined their forces to create components for the North American-spec Ranger.

The first accessory is a winch-capable front bumper, which will be included into the Ford Performance Parts starting next year, costing $1,495 plus installation.

“For Ranger customers who want the ultimate adventure gear, a Ford Performance collaboration with ARB is a dream come true”, said the automaker’s Vehicle Personalization and Accessories Global Director, Eric Cin. “With 45 years of design and engineering experience in the overlanding and rock-crawling world, ARB is bringing additional options for Ranger customers looking to make their truck even more capable.”

Review: The Ford Ranger Raptor Is Less Truck, More Off-Road Sports Car

Compatible with the pickup truck’s factory components, the bumper is offered with a limited warranty and doesn’t affect the safety systems and sensors. As a result, the Co-Pilot 360 driver assist technologies, Forward Collision Warning and Adaptive Cruise Control will continue to function accordingly, plus it also meets the regulatory crash test standards.

ARB’s new bumper is compatible with other accessories. Thus, aside from Warn Industries’ M8000, XD9000, 9.5XP, 9.5XDC and VR Evo 10-S winches, it can be fitted with a series of LED light bars, antenna and sand flag mounts, and jacking points for off-road jacks.

Ford’s collaboration with ARB will soon expand to include accessories for other vehicles developed in Dearborn. It’s hard to say what these are, but ARB is known for making steel bumpers, snorkels, roof racks, air compressors, lighting and more, so we guess more pickup trucks, or even SUVs, are the most likely candidates.
