One of the main advantages of owning an older Ferrari is that they tend to not be very ostentatious, and the 360 Modena is the perfect example of that fact.

Thankfully, a 360 need not look bonkers in order to get you from A to B quicker than most cars its age – and the Challenge Stradale is the best of all. According to its Bring a Trailer ad, this one has just 13,000 miles (20,000 km) on its odo.

The exterior is mostly black with contrasting yellow badges and lightweight 19-inch alloy wheels, housing ventilated Brembo carbon-ceramic disc brakes and factory-optioned red calipers. Also available are the lightweight bumpers, deeper side skirts, a larger rear diffuser, carbon fiber mirror housings and a Challenge Stradale rear grille.

Inside, the carbon fiber bucket seats are upholstered in two-tone red and black Alcantara to match the dashboard and factory three-spoke steering wheel. The original owner also optioned a fire extinguisher from the factory, as well as a CD player – although, who needs music when you’ve got a roaring naturally-aspirated eight cylinder breathing down your neck?

Speaking of which, the Stradale’s 3.6-liter naturally aspirated V8 produces 425 PS (419 HP) and 373 Nm (275 lb-ft) of torque, and can get you from zero to 60 mph (96 km/h) in four seconds flat before maxing out at 283 km/h (176 mph).

Back when it was new, this 2004 360 Challenge Stradale retailed for $196,807. Currently, and with five days ’till the auction ends, the highest bid is $75,000 – and, while it might go up, whoever wins the auction will have one of the most visceral experiences one can get.
