If you’re looking for an exclusive SUV and are willing to pay a small fortune for it, then the Karlmann King might be right up your alley.
If you thought luxury SUVs like the Rolls Royce Cullinan and Lamborghini Urus were expensive, then you clearly haven’t heard about the King which starts at over $1 million and can reach up to $3.8 million, if you go crazy with the options.
Based on the chassis of a Ford F-550 pickup, the gigantic SUV features striking bodywork that commands attention. The model was penned by Italian designer Luciano D’Ambrosio, who used the term ‘diamond design’ when describing it to Barcroft Cars.

There’s only one door for the rear passengers, but customers have an endless list of options including everything from a coffee machine to a fridge. Buyers can also splurge for a PS4, pop-out tables and a Rolls-Royce like ceiling with tiny LEDs to resemble a starry night.
Power comes from Ford’s 6.8-liter V10 engine which produces around 420 HP. It’s paired to a six-speed automatic transmission that enables the SUV to hit a top speed of up to 136 mph (220 km/h). However, the figure drops to just 87 mph (140 km/h) if you opt for bulletproofing.
