Tesla chief executive Elon Musk has confirmed that the automaker will build an all-electric ATV dubbed ‘Cyberquad.’

During the unveiling of the long-awaited Cybertruck overnight, Tesla took to the stage and demonstrated the loading capacity of the truck by riding a bespoke ATV up a ramp that folds out from the Cybertruck’s tailgate. Little was said about the quad at the truck’s launch, with Musk understandably wanting all of the focus to be on the pickup itself.

However, in the hours after the show, Musk took to Twitter and offered some additional insight into the Cyberquad, revealing that it will initially be sold as an option with the truck and offer seating for two people.

Much like the pickup, the Cyberquad has a futuristic design dominated by angular lines and sharp body panels. It looks unlike any other ATV on the market and comes complete with a set of bespoke off-road wheels and tires.

At this stage, no specs have been provided about the ATV and we don’t expect to get them for quite some time. In addition, it remains unclear just how much Cybertruck owners will have to pay for the quad, although it will likely be one of the more (if not the most) expensive options on offer.

As for the Cybertruck itself, it will be available in three forms. The base Single Motor RWD model will start at $39,900 and be good for 250+ miles (400+ km) of range and capable of hitting 60 mph (96 km/h) in 6.5 seconds. Next is the mid-level Dual Motor starting from $49,900 with more than 300 miles (480 km) of range. Topping out the range is the Tri-Motor AWD that’s priced from $69,900 and has a range exceeding 500 miles (800 km).
