Whether it’s about the futuristic look, affordable starting price or impressive performance in the range-topper, it seems that the Tesla Cybertruck is everywhere these days, and Elon Musk is keeping the momentum up for as long as possible.
The company’s founder and CEO showed a tug of war video at the unveiling of the electric pickup truck last week, and since it was mostly missed out by those present or watching the live stream, he released it on social media late last night, too.

The clip is meant to emphasize the power display of the Cybertruck against America’s best-selling vehicle. From what we can tell, this was the mid- or top-spec variant of the EV, as it has all-wheel drive. The former has a dual-motor setup and the latter packs a tri-motor layout, for what we reckon is an earth-shattering amount of torque.
However, the Ford F-150 used for the demonstration can be seen spinning its rear wheels only. This means that it lacks the all-wheel drive system of the upper specs and is likely powered by a smaller engine that doesn’t do justice to the tug of war game. Then comes the weight, which is probably in favor of the Cybertruck, as it is likely a few hundred pounds heavier.
So, with the balance tilting in favor of the electric truck, it makes us wonder if this was a fair fight between the two. Let us know what you think after watching the video.
