Remember Lebanon Ford, that dealership in Ohio that’s made a name for itself selling modified Fords with warranties? Well, they are back with what’s arguably their most ambitious creation to date.
Dubbed Project M, Lebanon Ford takes standard Mustang GTs equipped with the Performance Pack level 1 and automatic transmission and sets about fitting them with either a Whipple 3.0 generation-five supercharger or a D1X stage 2 Procharger. The dealership then upgrades the spark plugs and injectors, fits a larger heat exchanger, improved cooler thermostat and a new fuel pump, so the car delivers no less than 1,000 HP when running on E85.
Power, performance, and a warranty: $39,995 Can Buy A 2019 Ford Mustang GT With 800 HP
If customers don’t have access to E85, the car can be equipped with a different supercharger pulley and ECU tune so it runs on 93 octane fuel. In this guise, the Mustang delivers “just” 800 HP.
What’s perhaps more impressive than all of this is that the Project M Mustang running on E85 and complete with the Performance Pack level 1 and 10-speed automatic transmission can be purchased for just $54,995. If customers want to save a little money, they can buy a Project M from as little as $49,995 with the six-speed manual and without the optional Performance Pack.
Unlike some other of Lebanon Ford’s creations, however, this one does not come with a warranty, likely because of its immense output. Numerous optional extras are available, including a ‘Protection Package’ with MMR Billet oil pump gears and 2,000 HP DSS halfshafts, to make sure it can withstand the power. There’s also a suspension package, drag pack, exhaust, and new clutch kits available to further improve the tuned Mustang GT.
