Bugatti has just previewed a one-off Chiron dubbed the ‘Zebra 1 of 1’ in a video posted to Facebook.
We got our first glimpse of the special Chiron Zebra in early October. At the time, it looked to be a Chiron Sport model although this video shows that it is a standard Chiron model adorned with distinctive paint.
Striking To Say The Least: Bugatti Chiron Sport ‘Zebra’ Is Unlike Any Other
The paint scheme was first introduced on the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport L’Or Blanc and later replicated on the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse L’Or Blanc and Veyron Super Sport Le Saphir Bleu.
For the Chiron Zebra, the paint scheme mixes gunpowder grey with titanic blue to create an eye-popping color combination that’ll ensure this Chiron stands out wherever it goes. Bugatti reveals in the video’s description that the paint scheme was done by hand and that applying each individual line took several weeks.
In the video, we are also offered a glimpse of the interior which perfectly mimics the exterior finish to create something truly unique. No footage of the hypercar’s rear is provided although the video from October revealed that the Chiron Zebra 1 of 1 is affixed with the ugly rear bumpers that must be attached to examples sold in the United States. This previous video also revealed the Zebra has the same quad tailpipe layout as the Chiron Sport.
There’s no word on how much it cost the owner of the Chiron for the custom paint scheme although it’s fair to assume it cost somewhere in the six-figure range.
