Bologna’s Guglielmo Marconi Airport continues to have the coolest Follow-Me cars as Lamborghini has supplied it with a fresh Huracan RWD.
This is the sixth supercar supplied by Lamborghini to the airport since the collaboration began in 2016. As with its predecessors, the new Huracan RWD will be leading aircraft towards the parking stand or taxiing out to the runway.
The latest Huracan RWD Follow-Me vehicle sports a very special livery designed by Lamborghini Centro Stile. The orange bodywork features graphics typical of machines maneuvering in the airport areas, as well as the Italian flag on both doors, roof, front and rear.

The vehicle is also equipped with an orange light-bar on the roof, a radio that’s always connected with the airport’s control tower and the distinctive “Follow me” stickers on the roof and doors.
There are no other modifications made to the Lamborghini Huracan RWD Follow-Me, which packs the same 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine rated at 580 PS (572 HP) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque. Mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission that drives the rear wheels, the 10-cylinder power plant enables the Huracan RWD to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds.
Imagine someone has to drive this rear-wheel drive supercar every day as part of their work duties in an open environment with high-quality asphalt where there’s no police to enforce speed limits.
The job probably requires an iron willpower to be able to resist the temptation to engage in some unorthodox activities involving drifting and donuts. Unless the Bologna Airport wanted a Huracan RWD specifically for its more playful nature than the AWD model.
