Priced at a touch over $512,000 in the United States, the Ferrari SF90 Stradale isn’t what you’d describe as ‘affordable’. After all, no new Ferrari ever is. However, for the performance it promises, it could be considered as a bit of a bargain.
Driving the hybrid supercar is a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine delivering 769 hp and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque. Accompanying this engine are no less than three electric motors, two of which are located at the front axle while one is fitted between the V8 and the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. All up, the SF90 Stradale churns out 986 hp.

The SF90 Stradale has yet to be tested by journalists, but Ferrari claims it can hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 2.5 seconds, 124 mph (200 km/h) in 6.7 seconds, and a top speed of 211 mph (340 km/h). Those figures (except for the claimed top speed) are virtually identical to the limited-run LaFerrari of six years ago and yet, the SF90 costs about half of what the LaFerrari did when it was new.
Ferrari uses a mix of advanced robots and highly-skilled technicians to build each and every example of the SF90 Stradale, as this video reveals. For a model offering such extraordinary performance, it’s only fitting that such care is given to making each car.
The first customer deliveries of the SF90 Stradale are expected to kick off in early 2020.
