Ever since its official unveiling earlier this year, we haven’t heard that much about the Lister LFT-C – aka, the tuned Jaguar F-Type.
That’s very much due to the limited production number of just 10 and eye-watering starting price of £139,000 ($179,901/€162,174) in the UK, without any options, yet while we were getting ready for the holidays, Rory Reid was driving it, and now the video is ready and awaits you at the bottom of the page.

Don’t go scrolling down just yet, as there a few things to go over first. The LFT-C features Jag’s 5.0-liter supercharged V8, which has been tuned to produce 666 PS (657 hp / 490 kW) and 720 Nm (531 lb-ft) of torque, so the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) takes under 4 seconds and top speed is 330 km/h (205 mph). Billed as Lister’s most powerful open-top model ever, it’s also very loud, with the bespoke titanium exhaust crackling and popping even in its quietest setting.
Contributing to the enhanced emotions are the exterior add-ons, including the new bumper, carbon fiber skirt and rear diffuser, although the lower ground clearance makes it hard to live with and you will find yourselves constantly watching for potholes or speed bumps. The suspension set-up is quite nice, though, for such a hardcore car, and won’t give you any back pains, and everything looks and feels good on the inside as well, especially with the very generous upholstery and stitching options.
The exclusive, F-Type-based Lister did impress the former Top Gear UK presenter, but did it get his seal of approval? This is the part where you have to watch the video to find out.
