If you’d like to purchase a 2020 BMW 8-Series Gran Coupe for yourself, you can do so starting from $84,900 in the United States. However, that sum would only land you the 840i entry-level version, with its 335 HP.

The car you’re looking at here, on display at BMW Abu Dhabi, is the M850i xDrive Gran Coupe, which has a starting MSRP of $108,900. In return, you get a 4.4-liter TwinPower turbo V8 with 523 HP (530 PS) and all-wheel drive.

It also puts down 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque with the help of an eight-speed automatic, which is enough for you to get from zero to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 3.7 seconds (0-100 km/h in 3.9 sec), before maxing out at an electronically-limited 155 mph (250 km/h).

Of course, what helps this particular car stand out is the spec, which will cost you a little bit more than the previously-mentioned MSRP. You’re looking at a Carbon Black Metallic exterior with several carbon fiber inserts (like the front bumper elements or the mirror covers), and a luxurious Ivory White leather cabin that looks worthy of a $100,000+ car.

The good news is that Carbon Black Metallic is a no-cost option, much like the Ivory White leather. However, the M Carbon Exterior Package will set you back another $4,100, while the Anthracite Alcantara Headliner is another $650. Then we have the Extended Shadowline Trim, but that’s just a $350 option.

Now, if you’re still not particularly impressed, then you’re probably more of an M8 type of individual, which you can also get in Competition Gran Coupe spec – the flagship. However, that will cost you at least $143,000, for which you get 617 HP (625 PS) and a 3-second 0-60 mph acceleration time.
