Bentley Launches A More Posh Certified Pre-Owned Program

Bentley Motors has announced a new ‘Certified by Bentley’ global program for pre-owned vehicles.

Destined for customers who are looking to buy used Bentleys on a tighter budget, the program is said to offer a “rarefied ownership experience.” Basically, ‘Certified by Bentley’ is the best way to buy a pre-owned model of the Crewe-based luxury car manufacturer.

According to Bentley, each model put up for sale through the program is prepared “to an impeccable standard.” That includes a detailed technical inspection from Bentley factory-trained technicians, a full service using only genuine Bentley parts when needed, minimum 12-month warranty, and a certificate of authenticity.

The latter provides evidence of where the vehicle was manufactured as well as a full service history. Besides offering buyers complete peace of mind, ‘Certified by Bentley’ also gives them access to the Bentley lifestyle, including invitations to exclusive events around the world, a tour of the Bentley factory and a subscription to the Bentley Magazine.

“Costs of ownership are lower than might otherwise be expected, making owning a Bentley an option for a wider number of potential customers. And every car hand-built at our headquarters in Crewe, England, meets the same exquisite standards regardless of when it was built,” says Mark Keeping, Head of Pre-Owned at Bentley Motors, about Certified by Bentley.

On a side note regarding the quality of its cars, the carmaker estimates that around 85 percent of all Bentleys ever built since 1919 are still on the road today. Not bad, right?
