Chevrolet has yet to start customer deliveries of the 2020 Corvette Stingray but already a wide array of models with eye-catching paint schemes have been spotted around the company’s Bowling Green factory.
Those purchasing a C8 Corvette have 12 exterior finishes to choose from and Instagram user shockpilot1911 recently stumbled upon one painted Arctic White in Bowling Green. What makes this particular Corvette special is the fact that it has been optioned with two racing stripes finished in Midnight Gray and is the first we’ve seen with this combination.

We’re on the fence about the exterior finish of the car. While mid-engined performance cars can look great painted in simple shades such as white and black, we think they look even better when painted in bright colors that really capture your attention. Among the more striking colors available for the new Corvette including Rapid Blue, Sebring Orange, Torch Red, Accelerate Yellow, and Elkhart Lake Blue. Another color we’re rather fond of is Zeus Bronze.
Those ordering a 2020 Corvette Stingray have a plethora of options available besides paint. Most notably, there are three interior trim levels, dubbed 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT. Among the features standard for the 1LT include eight-way power-adjustable seats, a 10-speaker Bose audio system, rear parking assist, and a 12-inch digital gauge cluster. Upgrades enjoyed by the LT2 including a head-up display, power-folding mirrors, 14-speaker Bose audio, wireless phone charging, blind-spot alert, front and rear cameras, and Chevrolet’s latest Performance Data Recorder.
The three most popular colors for the C7 Corvette in 2018 were Arctic White, Black, and Torch Red. Will the radical new design of the C8 encourage customers to opt for some of the brighter colors on offer? We sure hope so.
