Aftermarket specialist Wheelsandmore has just unveiled its new upgrade package for the Mercedes-AMG GT R Roadster, working its tuning magic on both the looks of the car and its performance.
Most notably, the tuner has developed three different upgrade packages. The Level 1 package involves a tweak to the ECU and the fitment of a new air filter to increase power from the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, which ordinarily sits at 585 PS (577 HP), up to 650 hp and 575 lb-ft (780 Nm) of torque all for just 2,251 euros (equal to $2,812).

Should customers want a little more grunt, they can opt for the Level 2 package that adds a set of sports catalytic converters to deliver a combined 670 hp and 612 lb-ft (830 Nm) of torque. This kit is much pricier and costs a cool 7,479 euros ($8,344). Last but not least is the Level 3 package priced from 16,723 euros ($18,658) that adds enlarged turbocharges to make for a total of 750 hp and 634 lb-ft (860 Nm) of torque. The aftermarket company says it could easily extract over 800 hp from the AMG GT R Roadster but believes doing so would impact driveability.
To accompany the engine upgrades, Wheelsandmore has also fitted the sports car with KW Variant 4 coilovers that come complete with a hydraulic lift system to help avoid scraping the front end.
Completing the modifications made are newly-designed wheels measuring 20×10.5 at the front and 21×12.5 at the rear with 275/30 and 325/25 tires respectively. A set of alloys complete with tires and the standard tire pressure monitoring system sensors will cost you 11,513 euros ($12,845).
