On sale as of today, the Jannarelly Design-1 UK Edition has joined the regular variant of the retro-styled sports car in Britain.

Pricing starts at £115,549 ($150,247/€135,464), including tax, £29,549 ($38,422/€34,642) more than the standard Design-1. The UK Edition is available in White, Blue, Red, Green and Grey, features white grille surround, carbon fiber engine cover, Union Jack decals and ‘UK Edition’ metal plaque.

“The UK Edition cars truly reflect Britain’s extensive racing heritage, but utilize the very best of modern materials to offer customers a classic car experience with 21st century engineering and design”, explained co-founder Anthony Jannarelly. “We’re excited to welcome our UK Edition buyers to the Jannarelly family and look forward to seeing the cars out on the road.”

The Design-1 UK Edition retains the tubular spaceframe chassis and is powered by the same 3.5-liter naturally aspirated V6 engine that develops 325 horsepower and 273 pound-feet (371 Nm) of torque. Power is channeled to the rear wheels through the six-speed manual transmission and the car, which tips the scales at 810 kg (1,785 lbs), can do the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration in less than 4 seconds, with a 135 mph (217 km/h) top speed.

If you’re familiar with the Jannarelly name but don’t remember reading about the Design-1 in the past, it may be due to his former creations. He’s the man responsible for designing the Fenyr SuperSport and Lykan HyperSport, yet his latest project is more about driving fun without breaking the bank (too much).
