A limited-edition version of the Jeep Wrangler has just been revealed exclusively for the Mexican market. Dubbed the 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Xtreme-Trail Rated, the off-roader benefits from a series of modifications over the Rubicon and will be limited to just 100 units.
For starters, the Rubicon Xtreme-Trail Rated comes outfitted with steel front and rear bumpers that can have their outer corners removed to improve the Jeep’s angle of attack. The steel front bumper also includes two large tow hooks while the Jeep Trail-Rated Kit comes as standard with a tow strap, D-rings, gloves, carabiner, and a safety kit. Jeep has also fitted a distinct hood with a subtle power dome and functional vents.
To ensure the vehicle is as capable off-road as possible, it includes Jeep’s latest Rock-Track 4×4 system with Dana 44 front and rear axles and Tru-Lock electronic differentials.

Inside, it doesn’t appear as though Jeep has made any modifications over other top-of-the-range Wrangler Rubicon models. That’s no bad thing, however, as the off-roader already comes standard with an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, red accents, and a small central display in the gauge cluster.
All 100 units bound for the production line come fitted with FCA’s 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that’s good for 285 hp and 260 lb-ft (379 Nm) of torque and is coupled exclusively to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The one and only color available is Solar Yellow.
Local prices will start at $998,000 pesos, roughly the equivalent of $53,285 in the United States.
