Rolls-Royce has produced a photo series promoting the new Cullinan Black Badge that will form an exhibition displayed at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Beverly Hills next month.
The series, shot by automotive culture photographer Mark Riccioni, saw the Cullinan Black Badge meet with different automotive subcultures in Greater Los Angeles under the cover of darkness.

In the gallery, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge met with the likes of motorcyclists, hot rods, rat rods and low riders, showing that while the luxurious SUV occupies a very different segment of the automotive market to many popular auto subcultures in LA, it’s every bit as special.
To help Riccioni with the project, Rolls-Royce’s Bespoke Collective of designers, engineers, and craftspeople at the Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, West Sussex created a special ‘Recreation Module’ to house all of Riccioni’s photography gear. Included were a DJI Mavic Mini drone, a 12.9-inch Apple iPad Pro, a 16-inch Apple MacBook Pro, Sennheiser PXC550 MkII noise-canceling headphones, Persol PO3225-S sunglasses, Supreme clothing, and a water bottle. All of these items were housed in a special storage case clad in Forge Yellow leather that sits in the trunk.
“The things that connect us are always more powerful than the things that separate us, and this series is a wonderful demonstration of that,” Riccioni said of the project. “I selected each subculture because it shares the philosophies that inform the creation of a Black Badge Rolls-Royce. From the obsessive attention to detail lavished on a lowrider and visceral power of a hot rod to the bold execution of tuned imports and deeply personal customizations applied to ‘brat’-style motorcycles.”
